Our plaques can be purchased directly at many cemeteries across Australia. We also have a network of selected Memorial Masons across Australia who are able to arrange for a Life’s Memories Glass Plaque to be incorporated into your new memorial or retro-fitted into an existing memorial.

With each life being made up of so many memories, often the most difficult decision is “which photos and memories should I include in my tribute?”

A good way to start this process is by considering the following questions:

  • What was it that they loved in life?
  • What was it about them that made you laugh?
  • What did they do for fun?
  • What was it about them that made them special to you?
  • How do you think they would like to be remembered?
  • How would you like to remember them?
  • What did they achieve in life?
  • What was it about them that everybody knew them for?
  • What were they most proud of?

    Next, select the memories you wish to preserve. These may include:

  • Photos
  • Letters
  • Drawings
  • Painting
  • Literally anything that can be produced in print media.

Then, make professional copies of the memories and put them carefully into an envelope, keeping the originals in your possession. If you have high resolution images in electronic format these can be emailed or sent on a CD/DVD.

Now it is time to compose the wording for your tribute. This is an opportunity to tell the story of your loved one, preserving their place in history. Their story may be of great love or great achievement, of dedication or sacrifice. Perhaps it will reflect their values or work ethic. It might tell us of their standing in the community, their wisdom or their quirks. It could tell us what a fantastic friend they were or be as simple as what made them happy. The eulogy is often a good source for this information and is often the best place to start. Everybody has a story.

Once finalised, put the wording in the envelope with the copies you have had made up and give then to your Life’s Memories provider, who will arrange for them to be professionally collated by one of our Graphic Designers.
